Biography

  • Kim is an independent business & fundraising consultant with over 15 years of experience of third sector organisations, including 10 in funding management.

  • She works on a range of community projects, from large scale capital appeals to short project-based assignments;  offering both strategic as well as practical hands-on support.

  • She can also provide training and mentoring in face-to-face fundraising for trustees, chief executives and fundraising teams.

  • Kim has experience in both the private, public and third sector. She was the first female senior manager for the Chamber of Commerce in Leeds and headed up the Business Link Social Enterprise contract for them. As Development Manager for Headingley Development Trust, Kim facilitated the asset transfer of a former primary school building into Headingley Enterprise and Arts Centre. Capital funding of over £1.4M was achieved in a number of ways including the, at the time, innovative community share issue campaign which raised over £105,000 from local residents.
