Slothdog's Amazing Album Cover Finder
This is a really handy resource to bookmark - Slothdog's Amazing Album Cover Finder. Type in a band name or album name and it searches through Amazon.com for the hi-res album cover.
HowStrange - a B3ta gallery
Regular B3tan 'Slim' has put together a gallery of all of his photoshop images. One image in particular may be of interest if you didn't understand the case mod 'goatse' references in the post below - it's the only way you'll catch me linking to a picture of it (pretty SFW).

Goatse pc case mod
I'm not gonna explain this one because you'll either get it or you won't. If you don't get it - don't ask me to explain because you wono't like the answer. Anyhoo, ladies and Genitalmen, may I present the Goatse case mod. (Popcorn found this but was too chicken to post it - wuss!)
Dodd's Deranged Diddyfan Detained
Another UK-specific story (sorry to our foreign readers). I thought this story about a delinquent fan of Ken Dodd's was bizarre for many reasons but none more so than the simple fact that someone could become obsessed by a has-been entertainer like him.
(and because it let me use this title)
Digimask- 3d head software
Found this little program today and think it's superb - we had the demo in the office and it managed to waste an entire morning's worth of work time. Headviewer is the full package but you can try out the Launchpad limited version for free - all you need is a digital camera. (Special thanks to Gary from digimark for getting my broken disk sorted so quickly)
Leeds is Best City - Official
Southern monkeys can eat my shorts - according to two recent surveys, Leeds residents are 'happiest' in Britain as well as being the favourite city in Leeds.
Ha-Ha!
The Yoda Bra
Possible NSFW - here's the Yoda Bra.
tinyURL randomiser
All-round good guy Jonty, from Electrichamster, has created a rather funky tinyURL randomiser which really does give you some unexpected and bizarre results. Full explanation here.

Drugs can kill
Mmmkay?
Protect and survive
Here's a handy little guide about what to do in the event of net connection failure

Remember to print it out though, for obvious reasons.
pr0n 'addict' claims unfairly dismissal
A German man fired for running up a EUR10,000 bill surfing for pr0n at work claims he was treated unfairly because his employers failed into account his addiction to Net porn before giving him the boot.
Mr Bush & the Queen - a joke
George Bush met The Queen, and he turns around and says: "As I'm the President, I'm thinking of changing how my country is referred to, and I'm thinking that it should be a Kingdom"
The Queen replies "I'm sorry Mr Bush, but to be a Kingdom, you have to have a King in charge - and you're not a King."
George Bush thought a while and then said: "How about a Principality then?", To which the Queen replied "Again, to be a Principality you have to be a Prince - and you're not a Prince ".
Bush thought long and hard and came up with "How about an Empire then?"
The Queen, getting a little annoyed by now, replies "Look Bush, to be an Empire you must have an Emperor in charge - and you are not an Emperor."
Before George Bush could utter another word, The Queen said: "I think you're doing quite nicely as a Country"
The Opposite of a case mod
Not being a fan of Apple Mac computers beyond their nice design (and ease of using the one-buttoned mouse whilst wearing mittens) and also being a massive fan of pc case mods - I think this G4 cube mod really keeps all the best features of the Mac even if the watercooling is a bit extreme.

ego tinyurling with funny results
If you're a regualr reader then you'll know that sometimes we use Tinyurl quite often. I've been playing with different ego-tinyurling where you see what page is linked from tinyurl with the first 4 letters of your name - like tinyurl.com/grom which takes you to an eBay auction for a tea towel.
The point of this rambling is a funny thing that some guys have found (or more likely 'fixed') - check out where tinyurl.com/cunt, tinyurl.com/dick and tinyurl.com/twat take you - do you think someone out there doesn't lie the Cheney family?
how to guarantee a sale on eBay
If you want to sell something on eBay then you might want to follow this seller's method.
Bizarre phobias: Fear of Dutch People
Being a naive person (no, really!), I didn't realise that you could have a phobia about Dutch People. Now that I think about it though, it makes a lot of sense but what would happen if you were from the Netherlands yourself and suffered from this fear?
World's smallest flying robot
Gizmodo have a write-up of the World's smallest flying robot - best of all, it's controlled via Bluetooth - Iwonder if you could BlueJack one?
Everything Starts With an E
If you can remember going to raves in the 80's then you probably didn't actually go judging by the vast amounts of drugs that were ingested at the raves I went to (obviously I wasn't under the influence but then I was normally working at the raves so I had to stay sober). Everything Starts With an E should bring back some (short-term) memories with lots of mix tapes, flyers and huge amounts of smiley faces.
Estimating the Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow
Finally we have an answer to eternal question of the Airspeed Velocity of an Unladen Swallow (the answer is about 10-11 metres per second if you can't be bothered reading the article).

Hitchcock Cameos
Alfred Hitchcock had several recurring trademarks in his films, one of the most frustrating for fans was spotting the cameos appearances. This site has screen-grabs to make you Hitchcock spotting a whole lot easier.
Make A Mr. Men
Make your very own Mr. Man (or Little Miss)
Merry Xmas C*%t and other seasonal greetings
Simon Spicer makes cool greetings cards and other stuff emblazoned with the filthiest things you's never hear your mom say. Get his stuff online at kiss me kwik - even Angelina Jolie was apparently spotted buying one of his 'You smell of wee' cards in London recently.
(NB make sure you go to kissmekwik.co.uk - the .com version takes you to a horse passport site which is wholother post!)
The Greatest Album Covers That Never Were
What happens when you throw a load of graphic designers at a project? You get The Greatest Album Covers That Never Were (which is actually quite a big lie).
Microsoft Online Crash Analysis - memory tester
Microsoft have come up with a handy geek tool - the Online Crash Analysis tool. Not the most accurate titles though - you need to download it and reboot with the program on a floppy or cd for it to work. It's a handy thing though as you can test your RAM for errors which would otherwise be undetectable (and extremely frustrating).

Who Would Buy That?
Looking at the many eBay auctions we've featured recently, it's understandable to ask the question Who Would Buy That? - this site lists many of the auction oddities that we've featured, all collected on one handy site.
Zumi's Cuddly Console-o-rama
I'm not sure why you'd need a hand-knitted console - maybe to fool burglars or maybe you can't afford one all of your own?
Pampet - Dag fashion & Accessories
We've seen many sites for canine and feline fashion before but Pampet.com is yet another good example. The site is based in Thailand though - I thought the only accessory that they needed for dogs was a good satay sauce?
